Art Walk
The Fullerton Art Walk in downtown Fullerton, every first Friday of the month, is developed and promoted by the downtown art community and retailers who independently curate their own show. This event is free for the community and many galleries provide beverages, food and live music.
Here is just a sampling of the exhibit info for this Friday (we will continue to update as new exhibits are announced), for a full list of locations see the Downtown Fullerton Art Walk map:
Friday June 7, 2013, 6-10pm
*ModTexwill be hosting a special benefit for the El Faro Orphanage. Help support the orphanage by donating NEW art supplies! Take in a live set by D.J., Vanity Police, while viewing the “Seascapes and Skies” paintings of Artist, Ingrid Praniuk. There will also be a special guest appearance by Ms. Orange County, Ms. Joanna Margot.
*Back Alley Bar & Grill will be a part of the fun tonight too! Stop by to see a few local artists work.
*Sexy Jane Photography and NOCO Studio will have the art of local artists Theo and Donn – A collection of Intriguing Mixed Media Art with music and refreshments.
*Studio EMP will have Christopher Becker sharing some of his personal work (and cake pops!)
*The Fullerton Museum in celebration of the Fullerton College Centennial will feature student artwork from The Fullerton College Perspective and Drawing class.
*Unity Salon will have Nicky Alice’s mirror art.
*Roadkill Ranch & Boutique will show works of Nancy Johnson and live music by Guy Nelson
*PÄS Gallery presents The Space In My Head, Michael Ziobrowski’s first solo show of recent works, where he uses xerox, tape, and spray paint on wood masking geometric dimension from the images in his head.
*Hibbleton Gallery invites you to “Cryptids and Other Imaginary Specimens” featuring artwork by Nicole Sloan and Wendy Kubiak.
*The Bookmachine inside the Magoski Art Colony presents the opening reception for “Dependent”, a photographic series presenting diabetes differently, created by Beth Bauler.
*VoiletHour Studio in the Magoski Arts Colony will present Cirque Du Noir: Where Light & Shadow Meet.
*The Egan, a new gallery space at the Magoski Arts Colony, presents visual artist Ken Ruzic with his first solo exhibition “Sacred & Profane”.
*The art of Cheralynn Johnston will be featured at the Tranquil Tea Lounge for the month of June.
*Eden Cafe will present the drawings of Jesse La Tour.
*Lux Aveda Salon will present the works of Karen Hogan.
*Secret City Comics Societywill have a featured artist, Jenn Pluta at 7pm. Also stick around for their 8pm family friendly improv show too.
