The Fullerton Art Walk in downtown Fullerton, every first Friday of the month, is developed and promoted by the downtown art community and retailers who independently curate their own show. This event is free for the community and many galleries provide beverages, food and live music.
Here is just a sampling of the exhibit info for this Friday (we will continue to update as new exhibits are announced), for a full list of locations see the Downtown Fullerton Art Walk map:
Friday April 4, 2014, 6-10pm
* Lolo Boutique will host Jill Bencsits.
* Green Bliss The Cafe will host artist Janice D. Monaco.
*Stop by Roadkill Ranch and Artside Studio for their Booby Trap show! These two venues will be filled with two dozen artists’ bra art for sale to support breast cancer awareness and funding for local breast cancer nonprofits.
* Another fundraiser show will be at The EGAN in the Magoski Arts Colony - “The Beautiful Autism” art exhibit has had all art donated by 30 artists with 100% of the proceeds going to Fullerton Cares Autism Foundation.
*Hibbleton Gallery in the Magoski Arts Colony will collaborate with the National Alliance on Mental Illness for “See and Be Seen” – exhibitions inspired by: “how we see ourselves,” “how we think others see us” and “how we would like to be seen.” Featured works of art were produced during hands-on arts workshops for people with mental health challenges.
* BOOKMACHINE books + zines in the Magoski Arts Colony will host an exhibit entitled “Glimpses”: a zine release party + art/music show, featuring the release of “Glimpses” a zine by Garrett La Bonte.
