Mark you calendars now for Saturday, July 9 for Fullerton Park and Recreation Department’s “Parent’s Night Out.” While mom and dad are out enjoying themselves, the kids will have a ball with games, arts and crafts, dinner, and a variety of fun activities presented by department personnel. The event will be offered from 5-10 p.m. at Independence Park (801 W. Valencia Drive). It will be $15 per child or $25 for families with two or more children and children must be 3-12 years of age to participate. Space is limited so pre-registration is advised and must be completed by Wednesday, July 6. Registration and further information may be obtained by calling the Fullerton Parks and Recreation Department at (714) 738-6575.

Buy your tickets now for the Aug. 27 6-9pm Cal State Fullerton Alumni Association’s award-winning Vintage57 – A  Premiere Wine & Food Tasting Experience, featuring international cuisine and eclectic wines from around the globe at the Golleher Alumni House. The evening’s menu will be specially paired by Sommelier Diane DeLuca and a silent auction including wine, travel, golf and art items will be held throughout the evening in support of the Alumni Association student scholarship program. 4pm: The Water Rate Study Ad Hoc Committee will hold a second public meeting in the Council Chamber of Fullerton City Hall (303 W. Commonwealth Ave). The water rate study was prompted by the prospect of insufficient funds in the city budget to meet the rising costs of needed improvements to the city’s water infrastructure (pipelines, reservoirs, pump station equipment and wells). The results of the study and the proposed water rate increases are expected to be brought to the City Council in July. Further information about the meeting or the water rate study may be obtained by calling the Office of Water Engineering at Fullerton City Hall at (714) 738-6845.

All Week: The Cal State Fullerton Titan Bowl & Billiards Triathlon runs through the 29th. Compete against other Titans in bowling, billiards, and Kinect table tennis. Entrants will bowl 10 frames, play a round of billiards, and play Kinect table tennis and receive a combine score for completing all three events. The person with the highest combined score at the end of the triathlon will be declared the winner and receive a $20 Titan Shops gift card. It is free to enter and sign-ups will be at the front desk.

10pm-1am: The Bacon MANia food truck will be out in downtown Fullerton for late night or until the cops shut them down – get there now!

10pm-close: Heroes has Late Night Happy Hour for $1 off all beers and 12″ pizzas for $8 (cheese or pepperoni only).

10pm-2am: Ziings’ club atmosphere has a DJ and $3 Kirin Ichiban Drafts and $3 Kamikaze Shots.

10:30pm-1am: Lewd At The Pool will play at Stubrik’s in downtown Fullerton. At 11pm Happy Hour starts for $1 off draft beers and well drinks.

11pm: Mr. Hotbunz might be at ENVY Ultra Lounge for bacon dogs at $3 each or two for $5.
