9-11:30am: Fullerton College’s 2011 Artist in Residence, Gronk, will conduct one of his daily demonstrations at Fullerton College, room 1021. This event is free open to the public.

10-11:30am: The Student Loan Workshop at Fullerton College (Room 226) will teach you about repayment options in terms of educational financing, the differences between a Stafford loan and a PLUS loan. We will also discuss the changes to the student loan program on the horizon, and how they affect you as a student loan borrower.)

10am-12pm: The Stroller Brigade at the Fullerton Museum Center is free for all preschoolers, toddlers and their grown-ups! Come to FMC to enjoy docent-led games, stories, puzzles and crafts in the gallery.

10am-3pm: The Cal State Fullerton Health & Human Development Inter-Club Council presents: Carnival of Connections on the ESC Lawn (above the Fallen David statue) with FREE food, fun, & prizes.

10:15am & 11am: Toddler Storytime at the Fullerton Main Library (Osborne Auditorium) treats children under 3 years old, accompanied by an adult, to a first group experience with stories, songs and fingerplays.

This workshop is a transfer planning workshop for students intent on transferring with a business major to a four-year university that will cover what being a business major means and what careers are linked to a business degree and the transfer admission requirements to be admitted as a business major to a university.

1-2:30pm: FAFSA Guided Assistance Labs at Fullerton College (Room 661) will help you fill out forms for financial aid (bring tax information).

Post St. Patrick’s Day Fullerton has plenty in store for you!

9am-4pm: The Fullerton Arboretum hosts its annual “Monster Tomato and Pepper Sale” at The Potting Shed, located on the grounds of the Arboretum. This is the largest annual plant sale in the region focusing exclusively on tomato and pepper plants.

9am-7:30pm: The Judi Garman Classic Softball Tournament at Cal State Fullerton’s Andersen Family Field is 19 schools competing in 45 softball games over a 5-day period. Visit the event site for details on game times. Adults: $16, Seniors and Youths: $12.

10-11am: Creation Station-Messy Art (Ages 3-5 year) at Belly Sprout is $80 for 6 weeks or $15 Drop-in. This exciting class promises to be a hit for your child, where they will chose their own materials to create their own masterpiece.

11am: Join the  Fullerton Chamber of Commerce for the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the new Subway at 1993 W. Malvern Ave., Suite 2C.

Beautiful weekend for getting out of the house! Some great things to do in Fullerton morning, noon, and night!

9am: Join the Harley-Davidson of Anaheim-Fullerton for free Green Beer Pancakes. There will be a pancake eating contest at 11am and while you’re there meet and join the Fullerton Harley Owners Group club. Also get 15% off rain gear and shirts, and 22% off all leather jackets.

9am: Fullerton Pony Baseball Opening Day at Duane Winter Field at Amerige Park (340 W. Commonwealth Ave.) will feature a short ceremony followed by Pony Division games featuring teams from Fullerton, Brea, La Mirada and Garden Grove.  Vendor booths and food will also be available.

9-10:30am: Morning Yoga in the Garden at the Fullerton Arboretum is $52 for members and $60 for non-members for 4 classes. The class is appropriate for all levels including beginners. 10:30am: Kids Climb Time at the Cal State Fullerton Student Recreation Center is $5 per visit for kids aged 7-17. Climbers will have the opportunity to learn how to properly climb a rock wall and improve communication, increase trust, encourage risk taking, and build teamwork skills among participants. 2pm: La Habra High School Theater Guild will present The Sound of Music at Plummer Auditorium for $12 at the door.

7:15am: The Fullerton Sunrise Rotary Breakfast Meeting will be held at the Meridian Sports Club (1535 Deerpark Dr.) and new members are welcome. For more information contact Carolyn Johnson at (714) 743-8670.

7:30am: The Education & Workforce Development Committee will meet to hear”Private Funding for Public Education,” featuring Chuck Allen, President, Fullerton College Foundation, at the Chamber of Commerce offices.

9am: The Fullerton Chapter of TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) will meet at the Fullerton Boys and Girls Club (348 W. Commonwealth Ave.) and the meetings are open to new members. For more information contact (714) 738-5295.

9am-12:30pm: Stories, Jingles and Mommy Mingles at Belly Sprout is for (ages 3-5) for $175/6 weeks with lunch provided for mother and child. “Your child will be introduced to an emergent curriculum pre-school program. They will learn the skills necessary for success in kindergarten through play and development activities.”
