It’s the end of another busy weekend and if you still have energy to do things then not only do we applaud you, but we have plenty of things for you to do! Support the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer with their fundraiser today or catch a United Soccer League game at Cal State Fullerton.  AND today is the last day to enter the Full Foodie giveaway brought to you by us & SanSai Sushi! 

All day: Throughout the day the 16th Annual Korean-American Sports Festival will host participants in various sports & locations. Basketball will be held at Grace Ministry International gym (1645 W. Valencia), Swimming at the Janet Evans Swim Complex at Independence Park (801 W. Valencia), Baseball at the Fullerton Sports Complex (560 E. Silver Pine St.), and all other games will be held at the Cal State Fullerton Titan Stadium.

8am-2am: It’s Free Shit Sunday at 2J’s Lounge – buy a drink, get a raffle ticket for free shit!

9am-2pm: At Big’s Bar & Grill get all you can eat Brunch with regular drink purchase for $9.99, or for $15.99 with bottomless mimosas. Drink specials include $4.50 large domestics, $5 bloody marys, and $12 bucket of beer – 5 bottles domestic per bucket.

11am-6pm: Hair of the Dog Sunday at House of Eden treats you to $2 Bloody Marys and $2 Mimosas with the only topless girls in town. If you stay till 1pm you’ll get to be a part of Photo Shoot Sundays where you can watch, direct & join the Eden girls during a photo shoot.

11:30am-10pm: Sangria Sunday at Lizarran means you can buy 1 pitcher of Sangria and get the 2nd free!

12pm: The Summer Solstice Folk Arts Festival is free admission at The Muckenthaler Cultural Center. The festival, sponsored by Living Traditions, brings you stage performances, storytellers, art workshops, a kid’s area, arts & crafts fair and gallery tours with food vendors and more.

12-4pm: For $16.99/person you can head to AMF Carter Lanes for 2 hours of bowling, shoe rental and All You Can Eat Pizza! (cheese or pepperoni, served by the slice). No other coupons can be accepted and there’s a minimum of 3 bowlers per lane.

4:30-8pm: Join Go Country 105 at Slidebar for Bradley Gaskin and Jacob Lyda performing live for the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer team fundraiser. ($10 donation at the door.)

5pm: LA Blues professional soccer club faces the  Harrisburg City Islanders in the  Titan Stadium at Cal State Fullerton. This is their first season in the USL, and tickets are only $10 each.

5-9pm: Classic cover band the VooDudes will be at Roscoe’s Famous Deli.

5-10pm: Salon and Service Industry Night at Commonwealth Lounge in downtown Fullerton serves those in the Salon & Service industry to 1/2 off the entire dinner menu. (Dine with up to 3 non-industry guests with proof of employment.)

6-9pm: Burger Records will have a show with Grant Hart of the legendary Hüsker Dü. They ask that you please be respectful of the neighbors and remember to park in the back lots.

6:30pm: The Fullerton Civic Light Opera (FCLO) Music Theatre brings back the Skyroom Summer Series with The Rat Pack Revisited. Enjoy cocktails with dinner while you experience a professional staged show accompanied by a live band, in an outdoor dinner theatre venue located in the heart of the trendy SoCo District. Tickets are $25 show only or $49/$59 to include a no-host Bar, dinner (dessert and coffee included) and show.

7pm: The Beauty Queen of Leenane at Hunger Artists Theatre is a dark comedy from one of Ireland’s most respected playwrights. The show is $18 general admission and $15 for students/seniors (with ID).

Celebrate the end of the weekend with all these great things to do!

7:30am: The Rockin’ Roadrunner Run/Walk Challenge at Lion’s Field (1440 N. Brea Blvd.) is a challenging obstacle course with ropes, tires and tunnels created by Rolling Hills Elementary. The cost is $30, Team fee $10 per person min. 5 people per team, kid’s fun run $10 and all proceeds will fund Rolling Hills Elementary physical education and library service programs.

9am-1pm: Build your own omelette (up to 20 items) at Roscoe’s Famous Deli in the SOCO District of downtown Fullerton.

Enjoy food, drinks, music, haircuts, and great vibes. 100% of profits will be donated,  services: Haircuts $25, Blow Dry/Style $20, Deep Conditioning $10. No appointment necessary. First come first serve.

1-4pm: Hear Dixieland Jazz with The Golden Eagles at Steamers Jazz Club & Cafe.

1-5pm: Enjoy Sunday Funday at Bourbon Street with the Crawfish Boil Big Easy Style for $15, and $2 Bloody Marys and mimosas, with live entertainment. Happy hour is 4-7pm with $4 well drinks, domestic draft beer and house wine, plus a Sunday-only $4 Hurricane special! Breakfast is served until 2pm, and the entire menu (lunch and dinner) is available at noon.

1-5pm: The Quartermania Fundraiser at the Holiday Inn & Suites – Royal Ballroom (2932 E. Nutwood Ave.) will benefit the 8th Grade Washington, DC trip for Fisler School in Fullerton. Bring quarters to bid on more than 70 items, there will also be raffles and a 50/50 drawing. Auction begins promptly at 2pm. Arrive early to check in, get a paddle & grab a seat and meet vendors who are donating time and products for this event.

1-5pm: If you stay at House of Eden till 1pm you’ll get to be a part of Photo Shoot Sundays where you can watch, direct & join the Eden girls during a photo shoot.

1-5pm: Pursuit Cyclery Presents: The Spring GoldSprint Series at I Got Cha Pizza in downtown Fullerton. They’ll be running some FREE races during registration, with some lovely prizes: food, drinks, bike stuff, life stuff. You don’t have to be 21 for the food, but if you want the drinks, bring your ID! Registration starts at 1pm and the tournament will begin at 2:30pm. Cost is $6 and includes a slice of pizza. There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places for each tournament.

2pm: 365 Days is $10 at Cal State Fullerton Hallberg Theatre, a gut-wrenching chamber theatre piece, which follows the harrowing, actual experiences of Ronald J. Glasser, during his time as a medic overseas, in the Vietnam conflict.

2pm: Footloose: The Musical is presented at Cal State Fullerton’s Little Theater for $20.

2pm: STAGES Theatre presents Twelfth Night – A Bold New Staging of Shakespeare’s rollicking comedy – for  $20, $17 for students and seniors.

2-4pm: The Heritage House Weekend Tours continue this weekend at the Fullerton Arboretum. Reservations not required; tours free however voluntary donations of $2/person are encouraged to help support the Heritage House.

2-6pm: Fullerton Community Nursery School (2050 Youth Way) will host their Family Fun Day intended for families with young children who are interested in experiencing the school, meeting teachers and having fun with crafts, games, music, food, and prizes. All ages of children are welcome.

3-5:30pm: The Tropical Shave Ice truck will be in downtown Fullerton serving tasty treats.

3:30pm: Fullerton Friends of Music presents a free concert by the Henschel Quartet for the 5th and final concert of their season at Sunny Hills Performing Arts Center (1501 Warburton Way).

4pm: The Maverick Theater presents their production of The Wedding Singer, for $20 and suitable for ages 13+.

4pm: Southern Fried Sundays at Slidebar starts, you’ll get half off wells, drafts and select appetizers and hear Double Wide perform.

5pm: Julius Caesar is presented by STAGES Theatre for $10/$12.

5-9pm: Roscoe’s Famous Deli invites you to hear the Voodudes play live.

5:30pm: The Cellar helps the Japanese relief effort (last night tonight!) with a 4-course Japanese theme prix fixe dinner of which $10 of every meal benefits the American Red Cross Japanese Relief Effort. Executive Chef Sean Nemetz has crafted the $45 per person menu that includes: Seared sushi grade tuna under saffron risotto and finished by a Sriracha mango buerre blanc, Lemongrass consommé with sea urchin roe resting on a potato nest, Grilled Korabuta pork chop with wasabi potato puree and a sweet chili cream sauce and Green tea crème brûlée with honey-ginger Chantilly. Space is limited and reservations are recommended by calling (714) 525-5682.

5:30-9pm: The Cal State Fullerton Association of Chinese Students presents Wong Fu Productions in the Titan Student Union Pavilion, for $20 (to support the ACS). They will be speaking about their experience in the industry and screen new/unreleased work. (Parking in the TSU structure is free on weekends.)

7pm: As You Like It continues the Hunger Artists tradition of presenting modern, relevant Shakespeare productions. General admission is $18, $15 for students/seniors with ID.

8-10pm: Get $3 well drinks & $3 domestic beers at 2J’s Lounge for Power Hour.
