Mark you calendars now for Saturday, July 9 for Fullerton Park and Recreation Department’s “Parent’s Night Out.” While mom and dad are out enjoying themselves, the kids will have a ball with games, arts and crafts, dinner, and a variety of fun activities presented by department personnel. The event will be offered from 5-10 p.m. at Independence Park (801 W. Valencia Drive). It will be $15 per child or $25 for families with two or more children and children must be 3-12 years of age to participate. Space is limited so pre-registration is advised and must be completed by Wednesday, July 6. Registration and further information may be obtained by calling the Fullerton Parks and Recreation Department at (714) 738-6575.

Buy your tickets now for the Aug. 27 6-9pm Cal State Fullerton Alumni Association’s award-winning Vintage57 – A  Premiere Wine & Food Tasting Experience, featuring international cuisine and eclectic wines from around the globe at the Golleher Alumni House. The evening’s menu will be specially paired by Sommelier Diane DeLuca and a silent auction including wine, travel, golf and art items will be held throughout the evening in support of the Alumni Association student scholarship program. Ticket prices are as follows: $55 Alumni Association Members, $65 Non-Members, $100 VIP (includes exclusive private tastings and special gift), $550 Alumni Association Members Table (Table of 10), $650 Non-Members Table (Table of 10).

Fullerton Easter Egg Hunts for kids!

Don’t forget to tell us if you find one of our eggs for our Fullerton Egg Hunt for Adults so we can list you as a Victorious Egg Hunter! Also, tomorrow is the Fullerton State of City Address at 11:30am at Cal State Fullerton. Fullerton is open for business! Hear a 2010 year-end review and the City’s goals moving forward. Department heads will discuss Fullerton’s commercial competitiveness, public safety, budget constraints, and more. Tickets are $55.

It’s been a few crazy days for us here at iF, we hope you’re staying cool in this crazy heat. If you brave the hot temperatures you might be lucky enough to find one of our eggs for our 1st ever Fullerton Egg Hunt for Adults! Below, as always, is your daily list of things to do!

8am-6pm: High School Jazz Bands, Combos and Vocal Jazz Ensembles compete in the Annual Jazz Festival at Fullerton College. A two day event with competitions beginning in several venues all over campus. Adult admission for featured performance events is $8.

8:30am-12pm: U.S. Representative Ed Royce hosts the 3rd Annual Women’s Conference at California State University, Fullerton.  Rep.  Royce, in conjunction with Cal State Fullerton’s Women and Philanthropy Network, invites you to attend a half-day seminar addressing issues facing women today. Keynote speaker will be Kristen Bell. Royce’s 3nd Annual Women’s Conference offers the following five breakout seminars. You will have an opportunity to attend two during the half-day women’s conference. Visit the event site to register.

9-10:30am: Morning Yoga in the Garden at the Fullerton Arboretum is $13/members $15/nonmembers. The class is appropriate for all levels including beginners. Ages 16 – 17 allowed with an adult. Wear comfortable clothing, and bring a mat if you have one. Call (657) 278-3407 for more information.

Don’t worry, we aren’t doing anything crazy to fool you for April Fools’ Day. In fact we are going to give you a chance to get free stuff!! Below you will find the daily list of things to do but if you look above you will find a link for our Egg Hunt page! 8am-6pm: High School Jazz Bands, Combos and Vocal Jazz Ensembles compete in the Annual Jazz Festival at Fullerton College. A two day event with competitions beginning in several venues all over campus. Adult admission for featured performance events is $8.

8:30am-4pm: EntreLeadership combines the innovative spirit of an entrepreneur with the passion and drive of a leader. Since his first hire, Dave has made it a priority to train, mentor and refine his leadership team. The EntreLeadership principles have been at the foundation of his training process since day one. This one day program will be at First Evangelical Free Church (2801 North Brea Blvd) for $34.99, EntreLeadership w/Lunch $42.49, Lunch Only $7.50.

10-11am: Creation Station-Messy Art (Ages 3-5 year) at Belly Sprout is $80 for 6 weeks or $15 Drop-in. This exciting class promises to be a hit for your child, where they will chose their own materials to create their own masterpiece.
