Start your weekend early with the numerous Thirsty Thursday deals going on around town! Along with those we have the Farmer’s Market with live music for you to check out and all you can eat sushi for $20. It’s going to be a good day!

Sign your Teen up now for 6/27 1-3pm: “The Idea Place for Teens” at the Fullerton Museum Center – a class for Summer that invites youths in grades 7 through 9 to make original art on their own terms while experimenting with various media. The week-long class will let students work on projects of their own choosing, with museum staff and docents assisting in a loosely structured, open studio setting. Art projects may include working in acrylic paints, drawing, printmaking, jewelry-making, fused glass and resin casting. Tuition for the class is $90 for members of the Fullerton Museum Center and $105 for the general public. The tuition includes all materials. Class space is limited, register by calling the Museum Center at (714) 738-6545.
Things to do today:
All Day: From today through July 11 the Small Dog Area of the Pooch Park will be closed to allow for grass recovery and maintenance repairs from heavy use. There will be a temporary area fenced off in the large dog area for small dogs during the closure.
7:15am: The Fullerton Sunrise Rotary Breakfast Meeting will be held at the Meridian Sports Club (1535 Deerpark Dr.) and new members are welcome. For more information contact Carolyn Johnson at (714) 743-8670.
9:30am: Visit the Fullerton Senior Multi-Service Center (340 W. Commonwealth Ave.) for the free knitting and crochet class, new members are welcome.
10am: Making Baby Food at Belly Sprout is a workshop for $15. Christy Funk, owner of Belly Sprout, will teach you how and when to start to insure that your loved one gets not only optimal nutrition, but delightfully delicious food as well.
11am-2pm: Looking for Mexican fare near Cal State Fullerton? Cantina Lounge has lunch specials starting at $6.99.
11am-2pm: Slidebar invites you to enjoy their $7 Express Lunch – build your own sandwich and side.
11am-3pm: At Revolucion 1910 Cantina the lunch specials are only $5.99 with over 10 items to choose from.
11am-9pm: Get 5 for $10 wine tasting at Angelo’s and Vinci’s Ristorante. From 11am-3pm you can enjoy their lunch buffet or get the $3 pizza/salad combo special from Woppo’s takeout.

4-8:30pm: Get fresh produce and fruits, nuts, crafts, clothing, food, kids activities and a beer & wine garden at the Fullerton Thursday Farmers Market (Wilshire Ave., between Harbor & Pomona). This week’s band is Superlark. (ALSO, did you know that if you take your Fullerton Museum Center beer garden plastic Mug to Back Alley after the market you can get $2 domestic refills!?)
4-10pm: Ladies Night at Commonwealth Lounge means extended Happy Hour specials: 1/2 Select Appetizers, $4 Crafts on Drafts, $4 Well Cocktails, $5 Sangria and select martinis and wines!

6-7:45pm: Attend Family Movie & Game Night at the Fullerton Main Library (Osborne Auditorium) for a free evening of games and entertainment with the family. Tonight’s movie showing is Finding Nemo (2003).
6-8pm: CANCELLED: The Roscoe’s & Heroes Bike Night with the Motorcycle Riders Association and the Harley-Davidson of Anaheim-Fullerton will no longer be returning to the back patio of Roscoe’s Famous Deli. Concern for parking has become an issue, stay tuned for information on a new location for the future.
6-9pm: Get dessert with the Chunk-N-Chip dessert truck who will be in downtown Fullerton tonight on Wilshire (west side of Harbor).
6-10pm: Thirsty Thursday at NYPD Pizza in downtown Fullerton gets you $1 Domestic Drafts and $2 Import Drafts.
6-11pm: It’s Dollar Mania at AMF Carter Lanes! Get the best value for your dollar and fun for your bowl! The $5 cover charge gets you $1 games and $1 shoe rental with a minimum of 3 bowlers per lane.
6:30pm: The Fullerton Civic Light Opera (FCLO) Music Theatre brings back the Skyroom Summer Series with The Rat Pack Revisited. Enjoy cocktails with dinner while you experience a professional staged show accompanied by a live band, in an outdoor dinner theatre venue located in the heart of the trendy SoCo District. Tickets are $49 and $59 Includes No Host Bar, Dinner (dessert and coffee included) and Show.
7-8pm: Prenatal Yoga and Birth Preparation at Belly Sprout will ease pregnancy symptoms and prepare you for childbirth through simple yet effective postures and breathing techniques. 7:30pm: As part of their Jazz Festival, The Muckenthaler Cultural Center presents performances in their outdoor ampitheather for $25 at the door, or $100 for the entire series. Hear music from Grammy Award winning musicians in a local setting.
