Storytime and After School programs are starting up again at the library for the kiddies so don’t forget to take advantage of them. And if you had an urge to practice your dance steps you can either join a dancing contest at InCahoots or start learning at Fullerton’s Historic Ballroom and Dancesport Center Open House. Fullerton Pooch Park is in need of volunteers to help open or close the park. Volunteers will need to go thru a background check and LiveScan fingerprinting thru the City because you get a key to City property. You can commit to just opening, just closing, both or justas a backup person when one of our regulars can’t do it. If you can help, please send an email to poochpark411@yahoo.com.

The Haunted Fullerton Walking Tours from Fullerton Museum Center are back ! Take a guided tour through Fullerton: Orange County’s Most Haunted City. Find out where ghosts have been sighted, and learn the real life stories behind the hauntings. Since tours fill quickly you might think about making your reservation today. They will be Wednesdays and Thursdays, running from September 14 – November 3, 6-8:30pm. $18 general admission/$15 for museum members.

The camp, designed for youths in the fourth through eighth grades, will use art and hands-on experiments to explore topics that were favorites of da Vinci’s, including flight, architecture, anatomy and physics. Space is limited in the camp and advance prepaid registration is required. The Fullerton Museum Center is hosting “Camp da Vinci,” which will be led by guest artist Katherine England on August 15-19, 9am-1pm, and will combine art and science as participants study the observation techniques and experiments of Leonardo da Vinci. The camp, designed for youths in the 4th-8th grades, will use art and hands-on experiments to explore topics including flight, architecture, anatomy and physics. Fee for camp is $220 per student, and will include all materials. Space is limited in the camp and advance prepaid registration is required.
