Welcome back to Monday! This is the last week of our Fullerton Egg Hunt for adults and it means that we’re going to have to double up on hiding eggs because we have so many prizes! More hunting and more free stuff for you! And now, here’s your daily list of events in Fullerton:
Notice- All Day: From today through June 11 the Big Dog Area of the Pooch Park will be closed to allow for grass recovery and maintenance repairs from heavy use. Big dogs may use the chip area during the closure. There will be a temporary area fenced off in the large dog area for small dogs during the closure.
Reserve now for: April 22 at 6pm: The Cellar invites you to An evening with Scott Bowden of Etude Winery for $74.95* per person ($69.95* for groups of 6 or more). The evening includes a 4 course dinner and tasting of 4 wines. Call to make reservations (714) 525-5682.
All Week: The Cal State Fullerton Titan Bowl & Billiards Triathlon runs through the 29th. Compete against other Titans in bowling, billiards, and Kinect table tennis. Entrants will bowl 10 frames, play a round of billiards, and play Kinect table tennis and receive a combine score for completing all three events. The person with the highest combined score at the end of the triathlon will be declared the winner and receive a $20 Titan Shops gift card. It is free to enter and sign-ups will be at the front desk.
All Day: For Earth Week Cal State Fullerton will have a Sustainable Art Wall and Display in the campus Quad. The three-dimensional exhibit will look at issues of concern and possible solutions for furthering a more sustainable environment.
9-11:30am: “Healthy Living,” a new class at the Fullerton Senior Multi-Service Center is a free six-week course designed to help people with chronic illnesses learn to manage and control the symptoms and conditions of their diseases, thus enabling them to lead fuller, healthier lives. The program, developed by Stanford University, will be conducted by trained volunteers from AmeriCorps/WeCare. Class registration and further information may be obtained by calling (714) 783-6305.
9am-5pm: It’s Dollar Mania at AMF Carter Lanes! Get the best value for your dollar and fun for your bowl! The $5 cover charge gets you $1 games and $1 shoe rental with a minimum of 3 bowlers per lane.
10am: The 1st Annual Fullerton PONY Golf Tournament will be held at the Fullerton Municipal Golf Course (2700 N. Harbor Blvd.) as a fundraiser for Fullerton PONY Baseball. Tickets are $100 per player including food and drink. Sponsored by Joe’s, Heroes, Roscoe’s Famous Deli, Bourbon Street. and Cherch Lounge.
10-11:15am: The Cal State Fullerton’s Asian American Studies Program presents Asian American Bloggers Speak on Blogging at the Cal State Fullerton Titan Student Union. The bloggers of Angryasianman.com, disgrasian.com and 8asians.com will speak about the creation and impact of their blog websites. They also will discusss topics currently being addressed on their sites. This event is free.
11am-3pm: At Revolucion 1910 Cantina the lunch specials are only $5.99 with over 10 items to choose from.
11am-9pm: Get 5 for $10 wine tasting at Angelo’s and Vinci’s Ristorante. From 11am-3pm you can enjoy their lunch buffet or get the $3 pizza/salad combo special from Woppo’s takeout.
11am-9pm: Enjoy the Fullerton Rutabegorz Monthly Special for April. In honor of their 41st year, get the Earth Day Dip Special for only 0.41cents! (blend of cream cheese, almonds, mango chutney, curry and cranberries served with carrot and celery sticks.)

11am-12:30am: The Monday Special at Les Amis in downtown Fullerton: Buy any two grand sandwiches and get a free petite hummus.
12pm: Cal State Fullerton’s ASI Productions hosts a Karaoke Contest in the Titan Student Union Underground.
12pm: The Kiwanis Club of Fullerton meets at Wyndham Hotel (222 W. Houston Ave.) New members are always welcome. For more information call (714) 255-0925.
12-1:15pm: Soroptimist International of Fullerton Meeting at Anaheim Park Hotel (222 W. Houston Way). The organization is dedicated to improving the lives of women and girls. Cost is $15 for lunch. For more information call (714) 577-4547.
2pm: Wine Monday at Matador Cantina in downtown Fullerton lets you enjoy wines by the glass at half price, with any food order.
3-6pm: Pallazzo’s Pizzeria Happy Hour has all you can eat pizza & salad for $5.99, .89cent 12oz. domestic draft beers and $2 off appetizers! Some great deals near Cal State Fullerton!

7pm: The OCBG (Orange County Board Gamers) Meetup Group usually meets on Mondays. The membership dues are $5 /year but new players are always welcome. The group usually plays “Family Strategy” or “Euro” boardgames like Settlers of Catan, Ticket To Ride, Puerto Rico, etc. These games are fun, fast playing, and easily taught. The group was organized by and is held at Fullerton’s own Coworking Place.
7:30-10pm: Open mic for actors and playwrights, monologues, scenes, audition pieces, and one acts at Max Bloom’s Cafe Noir in downtown Fullerton are performed in a workshop environment. 18+ only. The evening will start with Vic Miller on piano.
8pm: Test your knowledge at Heroes with Trivia Night. Individual players or teams are invited to try their skill for prizes of $50, $25 and $10 gift certificates or house cash for 1st 2nd and 3rd place.
8-11pm: Cheap Date Night at Sunset Lounge means free pool and darts (free jukebox too – up to $20 in credits) AND $1.75 domestic beer and $2 well drinks.
